New Year New Career….
Kind of catchy right? I hope so because now more than ever we need to get people motivated and energized about the labor market! For our organization this is not a new slogan, however for some reason I woke up this morning and this particular phrase was on my mind. Maybe because it’s the right time of year to be thinking of change but perhaps you may be looking to return to the workforce and I would like to help you find the perfect career.
It’s not that much of a leap to figure out why one would consider returning to the job market or perhaps finding a career for the first time or finding a new career. It’s a different marketplace and one that is ready for you if you have taken the time to prepare yourself.
Update your resume.
Make a list of possible occupations that interest you.
List your skill set and take note of what things interest you.
Convert that skill set list into possible job opportunities.
Look for companies that are stable and prone to hiring older workers.
